I have seen so many craft projects out there using chalkboard paint. Basically, if you have a fairly smooth surface and some imaginations, you can turn just about anything into a chalkboard. One of the latest crazes I've noticed is using platters to create chalkboards for you kitchen or dining room. Mostly, they're pretty plain and I thought, "We can do so much more with that"! So, I put my thinking cap on and decided to make some stencils with my Cricut and clear contact paper and jazz that boring old platter up! I think it turned out so adorable and fun and would work in almost any decor setting.
